OK all you crazy blogging friends. This is due to all that great peer pressure I have from my wonderful friends. Upon completion of my step by step overview(thanks to Darilyn and Bridget) and seeing that Brenda Andrus is capable of doing this (a friend to be truly admired), I decided to give it a whirl. I just tell myself it is fulfilling that nagging commandment in my patriarchal blessing that says I am to keep a history of my family. SO, I may put you all to sleep, but who doesn't need a good nap these days anyway) but here I go.
Right now my hubby and I are going to go by crown molding to put up in our living room. This will complete the construction or remodel of one room in our house. Line upon line, right. Then I get to learn how to strip and restain the bathroom cabinets. Rachel, got some time to spare?! I did actually get the knobs ordered for my kitchen. After staring at a selection of different knobs on my cabinets for a year now, I picked a completely different one and ordered it. Hope I like them!
Currently the big argument in our home is the painting of the master bedroom. I bought a duvet that of course my husband doesn't like so now we get to go "see if there is something else out there" - as if I haven't spent months looking. Do we paint the walls dark (my husbands preference) and get a light duvet or do we do a lighter wall and a darker duvet (lots easier to keep the walls clean than the duvet). Still debating.
Well I hope all you happy holiday vacationing people are enjoying yourself. I will have to learn how to post the pictures next. See some of you soon and others next year(I love saying that).

Sarah, this is awesome! Great first post! I will come over sometime tomorrow and help you with a few things. I say go for light walls and a dark duvet. Way more Jane Austen like and I know how you love her! (my sister says "who doesn't?")
